Type of Oil Viscosity to use for a SAAB 2005?

when i went to pepboys to buy synthetic oil, i was told i had to use 0w-30 oil. however, in my car manual, it states exactly: For best function Saab recommends:

For gasoline engines:

SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-30 or SAE 0W-40 engine oil.

so does that mean i can use any one of those three? i have a saab '05 9-3 and this will be my first oil change since purchasing this car. any help is much appreciated.Type of Oil Viscosity to use for a SAAB 2005?
go with the 5w-30 as thats what almost all new cars use.Type of Oil Viscosity to use for a SAAB 2005?
The weight recommended by mfg. depends on ambient temp. The lower the temp. the lighter/thinner the oil you should use. So for a fairly new vehicle 5W-30 should be just fine, especially if full synthetic. if not below 0F.
I found this in 2 minutes by searching. Take whatever you're told here with a big grain of salt.
